This is yet another view of the outside of St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney. I had been tinkering with different effects for this image all of which were somewhat garish until LenFirewood borrowed it and made the colours more subtle and added some texture. This is the final outcome and I love it. Thanks Len for your help.

St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney - organ

Inside St. Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney
This beasty huntsman was found in the back yard of my Dad’s place. A macro lens with a teleconverter can make it look like you’re really close, trust me I wasn’t.

Luna Park, Sydney. I remember Luna Park as a child, it was the place to go and the rides were just brilliant, now having revisited it, very very tame. I still have wonderful memories of my first visit though.

Yet another view of Natural Arch, this time the waterfall dropping into the cave mouth.

I saw this interesting individual whilst at Circular Quay, I thought he had the most amazing face and such sad eyes.

As I was strolling through Hyde Park, I saw this guy quietly having a smoke whilst feeding the pigeons. This is my first attempt at black and white photography and people shots, I have added the slightest hint of sepia tint.

I love churches / cathedrals, I spent a considerable amount of time in this cathedral, so peaceful and wonderful.

I just got back from a visit to Sydney to catch up with family and even though I lived there for quite a number of years, I never took a photo of the Harbour Bridge, until now…. I was at the Opera House when I took this with a 400mm zoom lens.
My newest eye destroying op-art piece …….. and how I did it !!

I’ve been messing around with geometric patterns in photoshop to create an op-art image from the 70’s era. Took about 40+ layers to get this, thank heavens for the grid. I think it looks cool though and kind of hypnotic. I will try to create a few more of these if my eyes can handle it
……….and black and white version

This is one of Kelly’s daughters, Bandit, the hose you see her with she turned into a sprinkler. The way she is lying with her back legs out is exactly like her dad. She has gone to her new family now, I miss her terribly she is so sweet and full of fun.
