Ungoliant
This beasty huntsman was found in the back yard of my Dad’s place. A macro lens with a teleconverter can make it look like you’re really close, trust me I wasn’t.

Great image Malice, but it gives me the creeps! I have the strangest urge to splatter bug spray all over the screen. No wonder people are afraid of these things… You probably still got closer than I would have to get the shot. And to think some people believe good photography is easy!
Hi Mike, when I first took this I totally freaked out when I uploaded it, those fangs look lethal It’s a pity that the rest of him isn’t really in focus and there is a bit of noise, but the fangs is what makes this work. I did cheat though, I had a 2x teleconverter and a 2x lens filter I was messing about with to see how it worked when I spotted this guy. Thanks for dropping by and commenting.
Cheers
Mal
