Pipe organs are always so intricate in cathedrals. I remember when I was a little girl, and we went to the Philippines where my father was from. He took us into a cathedral that was high in the mountains, and there was this huge, I mean really huge pipe organ that had been carved into the side of the mountain, or at least that’s how it looked to my young eyes. It was white, and absolutely beautiful. I wish that I had a picture of it.
Hi Poeites, this is one of the biggest organs I have seen so far, I would really have liked to have heard it too, however, this was not the case. The one you describe in the Philippines sounds wonderful, I’m hoping I will get an opportunity to photograph many more cathedrals on my upcoming trip to Europe in 2009.
