4 days to Christmas

This is yet another view of the outside of St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney. I had been tinkering with different effects for this image all of which were somewhat garish until LenFirewood borrowed it and made the colours more subtle and added some texture. This is the final outcome and I love it. Thanks Len for your help.

That was an amazing photo and very well composed.
All I did was to reduce the colour sat and add a little bit of texture. Thanks for the generous credit anyway.
Mal,
I love what Len did with it. The texture is really incredible. It looks like a work of art, a whole other realm.
But I must confess, I love the wood of the original cathedral, too. Is that okay? To love both versions?
Hi Poietes, thanks for your comment and of course it is, I’m just jealous I didn’t come up with it……harks back to the old saying though, two heads are better than one.
Take care,
Mal
Very interesting! It looks like a colored pencil drawing. You wouldn’t even know it was an actual photo. Cool.
Thanks Mike, that’s what I thought, that it looked like a drawing with a light wash over it. Thanks for visiting and commenting.
