Into the cave

Yet another view of Natural Arch, this time the waterfall dropping into the cave mouth.

This is one of the most amazing photos I have ever seen, the composition and lighting are absolutely perfect and I really wish I could claim to have taken it, however, sadly I didn’t. The photographer that took this amazing shot is a good friend of mine, Len Firewood and more of his work can be drooled over here http://lenfirewood.wordpress.com/

I spent a long time in this cave, listening to the water and immersing myself in the beautiful surroundings. There are also glow worms in this little cave, however, it was still too light to see them.
I went for a bit of a drive to Springbrook National Park to see the Natural Arch, I’m so very glad I did, what a gorgeous and serene place to visit. The sound of the nearby waterfall and all the native birds singing was wonderful. This is a shot from above the waterfall looking upstream.
